HELLO.

My studio is based out of the beautiful quiet corner of Northeastern Connecticut. My convenient and beautifully rural location in this part of the state brings me to photograph families throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Organic, soft, airy, and timeless; that is the mood I would like to embody in my photographs. I do love neutral earthy tones, pops of colors, clean whites and simple timeless props and decor. Less is more in my opinion. I want you to look at your photos years from now and see a beautiful timeless piece of heirloom artwork.

My goal is to capture the beautiful moments that you might not think to photograph. Daddy, as he looks into mommy's eyes and baby giggles at the camera. Mommy, as she reaches for her toddler's hand. Baby, as he sleeps so sweetly and is wrapped so gently in soft, textured knits. A sweet kiss to the love of your life's forehead, captured forever.

I was fascinated with photography from a very early age and had my own film camera that I carried around the house and photographed whatever I could as a little girl. In high school I developed film in the dark room and in college my professor introduced the first digital SLR cameras to my class (now does that date me or what LOL). Life got busy and I got married and had my first baby about the time when social media was really on the rise. At the same time I had purchased a new camera to photograph my own baby’s first moments and after hearing me gush about how much I loved capturing these images and after seeing my photos, some friends asked me to photograph their babies. Next a friend encouraged me to make a facebook business page and website and then the rest was history.

As passionate as I am about newborns, I’ve fallen in love with milestone (older babies), families and maternity sessions. It didn’t take long after my newborn clients started growing that I realized I wanted to photograph them when they started sitting, crawling and walking or when they were expecting another sibling. As much as I adore newborns, I love documenting my clients and their growing families at each stage.
